America's Best is a Portland, Oregon based company headed by Brian Parrott whose history and philosophy has been simply to try to fill arenas for Americas Best athletes at reasonable tickets prices and have as much fun and do as much good for the city as possible along the way....

In 1981...America's best tennis players came to Oregon to play Australia....Memorial Coliseum sold out in nine business days with 36,000 people seeing Captain Arthur Ashe's team of John McEnroe, Peter Fleming and Roscoe Tanner play the Australians on ESPN.

In 1984....the USA Davis Cup tennis team played in from of another sellout of 16,200 per day at the OMNI as Jimmy Connors and John McEnroe took on Argentina in the quest for the Davis Cup.

In 1985....the USA Volleyball team, off their Gold Medal in the '84 Olympic Games, played the Soviets in Seattle's Kingdome in front of a record 14,237 and then soldout the Memorial Coliseum with standingroom.

In 1992....America's Best bid for Portland's right to host the Olympic Qualifier for the Western Hemisphere for the Barcelona Olympic Games. Winning the bid over 27 American cities, Portland hosted "THE DREAM TEAM" of Michael Jordon, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird and what is considered the greatest team ever assembled...to sellout crowds in Memorial Coliseum in the Basketball Tournament of the Ameicas'.

Now, in 2007, we want to fill the University of Portland Chiles Arena in support of the USA Volleyball Teams quest for a spot in the '08 Olympic Games... ....we invited you to be there for America's Best as they host a powerful French Team that finished 2nd in the 2006 World League to Brazil.
