Portland, Oregon and the Pacific Northwest are hosting the 2007 World
Final in historic Memorial Coliseum, site of two previous Davis Cup
semifinals in '81 and '84, the NBA World Championship of '77 and the
'92 Basketball Tournament of the Americas (Western Hemisphere
Qualification for Barcelona's Olympics).

The Davis Cup is 107 years old, originally put up by American Dwight
Davis of St. Louis..."....to avoid war.." by have sporting and
cultural exchanges between nations.

In 2007, 131 nations competed in Davis Cup competitions worldwide.
Portland, Oregon is hosting the WORLD GROUP (top 16 nations) FINAL.
This event will be televised worldwide.  In the USA, it will be
carried on live on 'VS' and rebroadcast on The Tennis Channel.

Bombardier Guests are invited to come to Portland to be part of this
historic event.

Russia's Team is arriving into Portland on Friday, November 23rd.
USA's Team of Andy Roddick, James Blake, Bob and Mike Bryan with
Captain Patrick McEnroe will be arriving on Saturday, November 24th.
(Practice partners for the USA are Robbie Genepri, John Isner, Sam
Querry and Donald Young)

The teams will be practicing at Memorial Coliseum and the LP Tennis
Center on the campus of University of Portland for the entire week.
